Some Low-Point Recipes

3 Apr

So, as promised, here are a few low-point recipes for you!

Banana Wrap: 3pts

  • 1 Manny’s Fat-Free Flour Tortillas
  • 1/4 cup fat-free ricotta cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Walden Farms Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 Tbsp fat-free whipped topping
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 medium banana(s)
  • Mix ricotta cheese, whipped topping, extract and syrup together in a bowl. Slice banana into pieces and place on top of wrap. Then, place mixture from bowl on top of bananas and wrap up. You can change the fruit to strawberries too!

    Breakfast Spread: (1pt)

    • 2 tbsĀ of ricotta cheese
    • 1 tsp of orange extract
    • 1 tbs of pf fat free whipped topping

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. You can use this spread for basically anything, toast, bagels, English muffins or my favorite, waffles.

    Grilled Cheese: (2pts)

    • 2 slices of fat free American cheese
    • 2 slices of low fat/high fiber bread
    • 10 sprays of I cant believe its not butter

Spray one side of each slice of bread with 5 sprays of butter. Place one slice of bread (butter side down) onto a medium hot frying pan. Place cheese on top of that and place the other slice of bread (butter side up) on top of the cheese. Wait a few minutes until the bottom slice of bread is brown and flip the sandwich over. When that side is brown, you’re good to go!

I have tons more, let me know if you want some and I can post some more! Thanks!

I add slices of tomato to my grilled cheese sandwiches. I don’t know what that would do to the points though.
