Meals Monday-September 9, 2013
As stated before, I have revamped Healthy Krit and have renamed my daily posts. So, here is the first of many Monday posts-Meals Monday. Basically, I will lay out my meals for the week and also share new recipes as I try them. So, here are my meals for the week:
Monday: Leftovers. We had so much extra food from dinner on Saturday that we decided to re-heat them. This is probably a good thing since I have an offsite meeting and won’t get home until late.
Tuesday: Parmesan Chicken Sammy’s with salads. I am actually using part of our leftovers to make a new meal! We had Chicken Parm as part of our meal so I am re-vamping it and making sammy’s out of them. I know more than anyone that leftovers can be a drag so I always look for ways to re-vamp the boring left overs.
Wednesday: Grilled Fish and Veggies.
Thursday: Dinner on the go. Gregg and I play kickball on Thursdays so we typically grab dinner on the way home. I know some people say that you shouldn’t eat so late, but it’s a myth…I repeat, it’s a myth. You can eat at anytime.
Friday: Pasta, garlic bread and salad. We have every intention of staying in on Friday and just enjoying a night off.
Saturday: Wedding food! We have a weeding to attend so Gregg will be having the pork and I will be having the chicken. Cannot wait to celebrate with Justin and Amanda as they embark on an incredible journey
Sunday: Junk! Yes, I said Junk! It’s football Sunday which means poppers, pizza, beer and chips. I know, not healthy but it’s all in moderation people
